Pamlico Arts Council along with ArtWorks Oriental present the Plein Air New Bern National Artist gathering, Friday May 14.

Plein air is the centuries old tradition of painting the real world directly and on site. Artists can choose to paint with oils, pastels, acrylics, or watercolors. Twenty-eight artists from across the United States will be painting throughout Oriental all day May 14. People are welcome to watch the artists paint at various locations around Oriental, NC.

Later that evening, please join us for a reception with the artists and their work on the deck of ArtWorks Oriental. Friday May 14, 5-7p.
